[Zelda has been a busy busy RA this week! She needed something to distract herself from the disaster that was Capcom High. So over the past few days, she has worked very hard to decorate the dorms for Halloween! Nothing too scary, of course, it's more of an autumnal motif. The halls and common rooms are adorned with lots of fake spiderwebs and strings of orange and yellow lights and fall leaf garlands and potted chrysanthemums and a variety of pumpkins, some of which have been carved into jack-o-lanterns. There may or may not be a Triforce one.]

The butterflies are lovely, aren't they?

I remember when I first arrived here as a freshman, I was so surprised at how many different Holidays were celebrated here that we don't have in Hyrule. Halloween is such an interesting one. I still haven't quite decided what I'm going to go as--I only started thinking about it when everyone posted those trick-or-treating forms on their journals.

Yeah, Halloween's a lot of fun. I love Halloween decoration, like pumpkins and stuff. (The school looks so cute! ♥) I wonder what I'll go as this year...

I completely relate to that. Hocotate certainly has its own holidays, but very few compare to Earth. Does Hyrule have any special holidays or festivals? During the summer time, we have a large firefly festival where I came from. Our New Year is also different, but that's logical when you consider the fact I'm from a different planet.

There are so many cultures that paint Earth's surface, it's beautiful really. I must learn more about them!

I don't really know if I have any plans yet... *though her costume was already decided, Zeruda might have seen her in it on the night of the cafe. Mun is too lazy to get the image though, so it's Madotsuki, just fyi.*

Oh my, do people always put up these decorations for Halloween? I only thought that people got candy and dressed themselves up for Halloween. Goodness, there's more about these holidays than I ever knew. I will need to read on them further.

People decorate for most Holidays. Come Christmas I'll be fixing up the dorms for that, too.

I had to do a lot of reading about customs and holidays when I first arrived here as well.

Trees, actually. For Christmas we decorate trees. I'm not sure why, but they're very beautiful.

Was it you who dressed up the place? It's simply marvelous! The first time I walked by and laid my eyes on all the beautiful leaves and pumpkins, I nearly tripped over my own surprise! But no fear. It was a nice surprise. I really like what you've done, Princess. Very lovely.

I haven't quite looked into my plans for this year yet. I know it will come up eventually.
